We are accepting applications for the Direct Cash Transfer Pilot project starting in early 2023, when YouthNPower will begin giving monthly cash assistance to 100 young people across New York City who have recently aged out of foster care and have been out of custody for at least 6 months. Young people aged 18-22 who have recently aged-out of foster care are eligible to apply. Our 100 participants will be selected by lottery and will receive $1000/month, no-strings-attached, for 12 months.
